Tether wants its own blockchain — and they want it to be free
Tether wants its own blockchain — and they want it to be free, not like Tron’s TRC20.
Here’s the fresh scoop on that 👇
Plasma is a new blockchain focused on fast and free stablecoin transfers, especially USDT. It’s backed by Tether, Bitfinex, and Peter Thiel (PayPal). Plasma runs as a Bitcoin sidechain with full EVM compatibility. USDT transfers on Plasma have zero fees — the project aims to become the default free global infrastructure for moving Tether. It uses its own high-speed consensus, and Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino is one of the investors — confirming the close link. With TRC20 fees rising, Plasma could become the main alternative, though Tether hasn’t officially dropped TRC20 (yet).
Now let’s talk plan:
Public token sales are coming. But as we all know — most tokens dip before they rip. So we’ll wait for the dump and enter after it breaks the downtrend.
The token isn’t live yet. 💯 Gem 💎
